TERMS & CONDITIONS
The terms and conditions to which you agree when you use UK Web Management Domain Registration, Hosting or Website Services.
ACCOUNT POLICIES
Hosting and website services are charged 1 year in advance and are non-refundable.
Website updates and extra services will be charged on a 30-day invoice.
Overdue invoices will incur a 10% late charge.
Unpaid Account Balances will result in the suspension of all services.
Unpaid Account Balances over 90 days will be sent for collection.
Accounts that are closed lose rights to all Domain Services.
The client must give 90 days’ notice if the services are to be terminated or transferred elsewhere.
DOMAIN REGISTRATIONS
Registrations are paid yearly in advance and are non-refundable.
Domains ultimately remain the property of the Domain Registration Services.
All Domain rights are with the Registrant.
Names are usually registered for at least 1 year, but can be registered for longer periods if required.
The Client (the Domain Tenant) has the right to use the domain name(s) as long as their account is in good standing.
UNPAID DOMAIN REGISTRATION RENEWALS
Unpaid Account Balances will result in the suspension of all services.
If a domain registration lapses, all domain privileges cease, and the nameservers will revert to UK Web Management Servers also.
UK Web Management (the Domain Registrant) reserve the right to manage or refuse transfer of the domain name(s).
If domain name(s) due for renewal are not paid for promptly, they may be sent to recoveries, which could incur further costs.
Additionally, Unpaid Account Balances over 90 days may be sent for collection or into Stasis.
(whichever method recovers any monies owed the quickest).
In either case, other fees may be added to the amount owed.
After 90 days, if the domain registration remains unpaid by the Registrant, it may be recovered by the relevant Domain Authorities and reissued elsewhere.
HOSTING SERVICES
Hosting services are paid yearly in advance and are non-refundable.
Services may be disrupted if account balances are not paid in full within 30 days.
The client must give 90 days notice if the services are to be terminated or moved elsewhere.
Unpaid Account Balances will result in the suspension of all services.
Unpaid Account Balances over 90 days will be sent for collection.
PROOFING DISCLAIMER
You, the client are solely responsible for the accuracy, correctness and legal/regulatory compliance of all copies and content, whether supplied by the client or by UK Web Management or its affiliates or by a third party.
ACCOUNT SUSPENSIONS
The customer should keep up to date with payments for charges on their account or the account will be suspended.
Should a customer does not keep up communication regarding their account, the account will be suspended.
If a customer has a dispute, they must ensure payment is made on all invoices during the dispute or the account will be suspended.
When the account is suspended any disputes will be put on hold until it is unsuspended and after 90 days the account and dispute will be closed.
Should a customer purposely upload illegal or immoral content to their website, the account will be suspended
Witholding any content necessary for publication will result in account suspension.
If our staff are not treated courteously or are spoken to in a discourteous manner, the account will be suspended.
We like our customers to treat us with the same respect that we treat them, this has worked well for everyone over the years and results in a healthy client relationship.
DOMAIN REDIRECTION SERVICES
Redirection of website and email services will be charged at the standard rate of £100 per month chargeable yearly in advance.
RECONNECTIONS
If your account should be suspended for any reason, there may be a delay in reconnecting it.
This might also be down to communications with any third parties that have any site involvement.
So, to be on the safe side we do allow ourselves between 12 – 48 hours Reactivation Time before the account is reinstated completely without any issues.
